The artist....

 

 

After more than a decade of hesitation between being an ‘artist’ or a ‘craftsman’, I lean today towards a creativity more relaxed but authentic, towards an inner peace. 

I prefer to move away from the seriousness of craftsmanship without nevertheless being hypnotised by the song of the sirens.  My key words are: naturally, simply. 

I agree with Rodin who declared, “ art is the expression of an inner truth”. 

My work today is and always has been oriented in the same direction, a research for vitality, joy and light; to answer the famous question “to be or not to be” – my answer is: one must be.
